Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank
The University of Iowa Provost’s Global Forum is bringing the traveling exhibition Let Me Be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank to campus from January 18 – March 2, 2022. The exhibition was designed by the Anne Frank House, Amsterdam.
The exhibition illustrates the life story of Anne Frank. It also contains images of the world around Anne: the rise of Hitler, persecution of the Jews, and the Second World War. It then jumps forward to the present sharing difficult stories of young people today and the impact of exclusion, intolerance, and discrimination.
Let Me Be Myself exhibit hours: Friday & Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm. Sunday – Thursday, closed. Free and open to all. Visit any time during open hours for a self-guided tour. To schedule a tour, visit https://pentacrestmuseums.iowa.edu/forum/schedule-a-tour-let-me-be-myself…
